How large is the daily selection at FooBi?
FooBi offers a daily selection of seven to ten different dishes – including vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. The food comes from eight partner restaurants in Hamburg and changes daily.
How are meals subsidized?
Your employer determines the amount of the subsidy per meal in advance. Therefore, employees only pay the reduced personal contribution – in most cases €4.60 per restaurant meal .
How can I place my order?
Simply use the app or the webshop. You choose your meal, pay your share, and we deliver it to your office on time – that's it.
Can I take a break or pause for a while?
Of course! If you don't order anything, nothing will be delivered or billed.
Until when can I order?
Generally, orders must be placed by Friday at 5 p.m. for the following week – this helps us avoid food waste in restaurants. You can also order up to 24 hours before delivery using our reorder service .
FooBi for Businesses
How does the ordering and delivery process work?
Each employee will have an individual account set up. Orders can then be placed conveniently and flexibly. All ordered meals will then be centrally collected and delivered on time to the desired location within the company .
Can we pause or cancel?
Yes. FooBi can be paused or canceled flexibly at any time – completely without long-term contracts. We focus on quality and service instead of rigid terms or restrictive agreements.
How complex is the billing process for HR or Finance?
FooBi's digital canteen reduces administrative effort. Individual employee accounts, automatic individual and consolidated invoices, and structured data preparation for accounting simplify the process.
What will the tax-free meal allowance be in 2026?
In 2025, the maximum meal allowance will be €7.70 per working day . This consists of the official non-cash benefit value of €4.60 and an additional employer contribution of up to €3.10 , which is tax-free – provided that the employee contributes at least €4.60 himself .
